The woman's bathroom even has a bathtub in it if you wanted to bath children easier. The bathrooms are one of the cleanest I have ever seen. The sites are not right on top of each other and they have many different types of sites to choose from. When we arrived they were very nice and accommodating with finding the right spot we liked. They were pleasant on the phone when I called twice and talked to both the husband and wife. The owners take great pride in keeping up this campground. We booked this campground not knowing much about it and it was a wonderful surprise. We try to provide top Notch service and cleanliness of our park, while providing a affordable park for people to stay. We consistently review the rates that are currently being charged by other resorts in the area that provide the same amenities, and are proud to say that we have not raised our rates in two years and that we are still $10.00 - $25.00 less per night than all of the non-state ran campgrounds. We appreciate you letting us know how we are doing and how we compare to other campgrounds. It is only closed during the season if the pool requires additional cleaning and chemicals due to an accident in the pool or if there severe weather. Our pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day weather permitting and is heated to 86 degrees when it is open. It was such a joy being able to get to know you and your family and help you plan your day trips while you were in the area. Do they talk, absolutely, but there are 2 separate and individual RMP's which guide how the particular resource is managed and what decisions are based upon in most cases, the instruction manual for the resource so to speak.Īs to the fire bans not being contiguous in RH and WW, while I wasn't privvy to the decision making in this instance, I would guess that one of the reasons for the discrepancy is, there's a lot more dry grassland in RH then their is in WW, which is contained mostly in a steep walled canyon with very little grassland, not to mention the user days in RH being triple that in WW (that was an estimation, but looking at the WW ramp on a Sunday afternoon, I get that feeling).Thank you so much for your review. The Colorado BLM and the UT BLM are 2 separate entities, managing RH and WW thru their respective offices. While RH is contained by the boundaries of Mesa County, it's managed by the Colorado BLM as it's federal land. Nothing to do with the Federal Government always makes sense, but I'll try and expand a little.
